Fresh wind in parts of the east may blow up sand and dust, reducing horizontal visibility

The National Meteorological Center (NCM) stated that the tropical cyclone had weakened and became a low pressure moving southward.

“The sea is very choppy. The height of the waves off the shore of the Oman Sea is 8-9 feet, reaching 5 feet over the east coast of the country, and the height of the waves in the Arabian Gulf is 5-7 feet,” NCM said, adding that the movement was in this area. An open area in the south of the country.

Impact on Al Ain and surrounding areas

According to NCM, Al Ain has continuous moderate clouds, accompanied by light to moderate rain, and gradually decreases at night.

Fresh winds in some areas in the east sometimes reach 45 km/h during the day, causing dust and sand to rise and reduce horizontal visibility.

Officials said: “The offshore area of ​​the Oman Sea will become rugged, mild in coastal areas, and reduced at night, generally becoming mild to slight.”

“The Arabian Gulf becomes rough during the day and becomes mild to slight at night.
