Very limited new entertainment options this week

[ad_1]

Studio executives must have expected that this week’s interest in the outdoors will outweigh the interest in movies at home. The number of new releases is very limited.

New on DVD and Blu-ray from July 5th

“Once Everywhere”: A distraught immigrant mother (Michelle Yeoh) contacts from an alternate universe and tells her that she is the only one who can save the world. To do so, she must learn to channel her newfound powers and fight across the timeline of the multiverse.

“Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis”: After winning the championship in Japan, Ryoma decided to go to the United States to train. It stalls when battles with street gangs disrupt the flow of time.

“Dolly and Friends: The Making of the Soundtrack”: The film shows what Dolly Parton recorded inside the studio for Dumplin.

“11th Hours cleaning”: The crime scene cleaners begin to experience bizarre hallucinations and must confront their regrets and fears when they are trapped at the scene of a recent murder, when they are bent on driving them mad by an ancient Norse demon.

“monstrous”: Christina Ricci stars in the horrific tale of a woman and her 7-year-old son as they flee an abusive ex-husband and try to start a new life in a remote lakeside farmhouse.

“Devil Within”: When the girl woke up, her hands and feet were stigmatized, and her forehead was bleeding as if from a thorned crown.

“Edge of Tomorrow”: A time-travel story starring Tom Cruise is being re-released in 4K.

Available through digital platforms

American Werewolf: Dozens of upright canine encounters are reported in North America each year. Some people think dog people are some kind of unidentified animal, others think the creature is something else.

“resurrection”: Margaret (Rebecca Hall) is busy with her career and raising a very independent daughter. Chaos takes the form of someone from her past who was unpopular.

“18 ½”: In 1974, a White House scribe was embroiled in the Watergate scandal when she obtained the only copy of 18.5-minute intervals from President Richard Nixon’s tapes.

“Prey: The Legend of Carnoctus”: A group of mercenaries in the Afghan desert are looking for treasure to pull off their biggest heist yet. They were soon joined by American soldiers, and both groups were trapped in a cave. The newly joined parties need to work together to find an escape route through the labyrinth, but soon realize they are being tracked by a deadly beast known as Carnoctus in local legend.

“fair play”: One woman embarks on a journey to change the imbalanced dynamics of care in her family and society at large.
