Malta tourism promotion agency VisitMalta is launching a new luxury yacht and scuba diving holiday package for GCC residents at the 2023 Dubai International Boat Show, which kicks off today.

Yachting Malta and VisitMalta have teamed up to showcase the Maltese Islands as a yachting holiday destination and the craft and experience of boating at the 2023 Dubai International Boat Show in Dubai from 1-5 March.

VisitMalta will be participating for the first time at this prestigious show together with Yachting Malta, a public-private partnership between the Maltese Government and the Royal Malta Yacht Club.

Yachting Malta will join forces with Super Yacht Industry Network Malta to showcase Malta as a destination not only for yacht cruising, but also for refits, registrations and all ancillary services including winterization, hard training and crew training.

Representatives of VisitMalta will also be present at the same stand, presenting the tourist attractions of Malta, Comino and Gozo, especially as sailing and diving destinations combined with historical culture, monuments and gastronomic experiences.

At the stand, VisitMalta representatives will launch and introduce the destination’s latest marine-themed holiday offerings, including luxury private sailing and diving holiday packages tailored for UAE and GCC residents.

Visitors to the stand (MLL-115) are also invited to enter a draw to win two return business class tickets to Malta with Emirates, with the winner to be announced on the VisitMalta Middle East Instagram page (@VisitMaltaME) on March 5th.

A renowned yachting and boating destination for leisure and international sporting events, Malta also offers some of the best diving in the Mediterranean. It has diverse natural coral reefs and unique underwater caves and rock formations. Experiences aside, the Maltese Islands are known for their year-round good weather conditions, clear visibility and mild water temperatures.

A testament to Malta’s scuba diving pedigree as Europe’s leading scuba diving destination and one of the world’s best 2nd Place Website in the Awards; DiveNet.

For novices and experts, Malta has excellent scuba diving schools and marine clubs.

For maritime sports, Malta hosts regular maritime events and festivals, attracting thousands of yachts and owners for both business and leisure trips each year, including this year’s annual Rolex Mid Seas Regatta, which will be held on October 21, 2023. – trade arab news agency
