VPorts launches certification process for new Dubai vertiport

VPorts, a leader in the design, construction and operation of advanced air mobility (AAM) infrastructure, has initiated the certification process for its vertiports as part of the world’s first AAM Integrator Center, which will Rashid Aerospace Center (MBRAH) established) in South Dubai.

Construction work on these vertiports will begin next year, according to VPorts.

The accreditation process developed by the GCAA complies with CAR IX-HVD Part III regulations, which

within the UAE.

The process will begin at the design approval stage; VPorts plans to receive design approval for the World Center within six months – a key step in the construction phase. Certification of the Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) vertiport will be underway soon.
