All UAE residency visa applicants over the age of 18 are required to undergo a medical examination. But how do you track the status of your test results and when do you expect to receive them? Here’s everything you need to know.
How to Check Your Medical Status in Dubai
If you have had a health test at the Dubai Health Authority Medical Health Testing Centre, you can check the status of your results by following these steps:
Step 1: Download the DHA app
Download the DHA Mobile App – “DHA” from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 2: Create an online account
After opening the app, you will be asked to create an account.You can use your Emirates Pass Account Or create a new account with DHA. To register as a new user, you must complete an application form on the app and provide the following details:
• Create username
• Enter your email address
• create password
• Enter your full name
• Choose your nationality
• Enter your mobile number
• Click the Register button.
You will then receive an email confirming your account registration.
After that, log into the DHA app with your new account details.
Step 3: Check your fitness test status
Once logged in, go to the Services tab at the bottom of your phone’s screen and tap “Additional Services”.
Next select “Check Medical Fitness Test Status”
Then enter the following details:
- “Request Reference Number” – you will receive this number via text message after your fitness test.
- Your date of birth and passport number.
Next, click the “Check Status” button below.
After submitting your details, you will see the status of your fitness test, which can be ‘In Progress’ or ‘Completed’.
Although test results are usually provided within 24 hours In Dubai, you can also follow up with the DHA in case you experience any delays. To follow up on test results, you can call the authority’s call centre on 800 342 (DHA) and provide your test reference number.
How to Check Your Health Checkup Status in Abu Dhabi
For Abu Dhabi residents applying for a new visa or renewing a residence visa, the service to check the status of your health check results is available through the TAMM platform – tamm.abudhabi, the official government service platform in Abu Dhabi.
To check the status, visit the service link for “Visa Screening Results” here: https://www.tamm.abudhabi/en/services/tamm-doh/visascreeningresult
You do not need to create an account to access this service. All you need to do is enter the application number you received via SMS after completing the medical examination.
After that, enter your Unified ID (UID) numberwritten on the UAE residence visa page of your passport.
Next, tick the “I’m not a robot” captcha clicker and click Submit. You will be able to check the status of your health checkup.
In Abu Dhabi, you can expect to receive the results of your health check-up at: 24 to 48 hours .
