Opener Muhammad Waseem hit a quick-fire 91 as the Emirates beat Afghanistan by nine wickets on Saturday to win their second T20 international and draw 1-1 A three-game series.
Chasing 138 wins, Waseem hit eight fours and seven sixes from just 50 balls.
The 29-year-old shared a first-wicket partnership of 119 with Vriitya Aravind (38) before being dismissed in the 14th innings.
The UAE reached their goal by 10 balls.
Afghanistan won their first match by five wickets on Thursday but struggled to gain any momentum on Saturday.
Najibullah Zadran topped the score with an unbeaten 37 off 29 balls, hitting five fours and a six.
The third and final game will be played at the same venue on Sunday.
