WATCH: Band records global hit in Abu Dhabi, video goes viral

As temperatures heat up in the UAE, most residents miss being back with friends in the desert to camp, build fires and sing songs.

Residents can relive winter with a viral video posted on Instagram by the popular group Music Travel Love.

In the video, the band members join some others in singing the popular song “Stand By Me” in Al Ain.

Standing in the middle of the vast desert with microphones in hand, the band sings the iconic song while offering viewers glimpses of the city.

Interspersed with footage of them singing amidst footage of Abu Dhabi’s greenery and stunning peaks adorning the city, the band tries to truly tour the UAE’s wondrous capital.

In the caption of the viral video, they also thanked Visit Abu Dhabi for their support.
