The ruler of Dubai on Thursday released photos of his visit to the two pavilions
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today visited the India and Pakistan Pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed said that Expo 2020 Dubai is a unique platform to celebrate creativity and innovation and discover new partnerships that will advance the region and beyond.
He added that the participation of 192 countries around the world provides an opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences and innovations from around the world that will help shape a better future for humanity.
During a visit to the India Pavilion in the Opportunity Zone, he heard about the country’s rich ancient civilization, vision for the future and rapid economic growth.
The pavilion showcases India’s arts, culture, literature, film and cuisine from 36 states and union territories, as well as a range of business and investment opportunities in the country.
The four-storey pavilion structure also showcases the latest technology and creates a futuristic environment with installations powered by augmented reality and projection mapping.
The India Pavilion focuses on showcasing the country’s five “Ts” – talent, trade, tradition, tourism and technology. It allows visitors to discover everything from the country’s natural wonders, health and wellness stories to a thriving space technology sector.
Sheikh Mohammed also visited the Pakistan Pavilion in the Opportunity Zone, where he was briefed on the Pavilion’s exhibits that showcase the beauty of the country’s diverse environment. Themed “Hidden Treasures”, the pavilion offers an immersive walk-through experience that showcases the country’s opportunities for tourism, business and investment.

As part of the visit, Sheikh Mohammed was also briefed on Pakistan’s various achievements in the fields of sustainable development, sports, technology and the arts. Pakistan has 7,000 years of history and is one of the best-kept secrets in the world with its continuous development of arts, culture and diversity.
Expo 2020 Dubai is the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, cementing Dubai’s rise as a city that nurtures promising ideas that help create a better global future.
