This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for – the Jawan (soldier) trailer for superstar Shah Rukh Khan is here. The film, directed by Aitley, opens in theaters Sept. 7, and if the trailer is any indication, we’re in for an action-packed ride of joy.
The trailer begins with a tense set; Shah Rukh Khan’s voice blares in the background, while gunshots, helicopters and scrambling crowds fill the screen. We see him in the attire of a state official, also a man in bandages. The superstar warns that he, like all of us, has his good and his bad.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the star cast which includes superstars like Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra. A special appearance by Deepika Padukone is also featured in the video.
In the 2-minute trailer, Shah Rukh Khan appears to terrorize a group of hostages in a subway with his bald head.
Jawan in Dubai song sequence
Needless to say, the buzz surrounding Jawan hasn’t died down since Atlee first announced the project in 2020. A few days ago, it was also reported that Shah Rukh Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) and Atlee will collaborate for the first time to shoot the film. A special song written for the film at locations carefully chosen by Shah Rukh Khan. If sources are to be believed, SRK chose Dubai as the filming location.
“While the final edit is locked, the team believes there is room in the narrative for a song that is a hit. The team will be filming the song in Dubai. We are still not sure if the song is a new song, or if it will be released on May 11th. A remake of a song that was filmed in Mumbai,” Bollywood Hungama said, citing sources.
“The Jawan song will be filmed at a special location locked by SRK and its team in Dubai. The song will be filmed over a period of 6 days and is known as the most visual song on the album. This is a surprise for the fans.”
