WATCH: UAE president’s bird’s-eye view of Abu Dhabi…

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan gave a bird’s-eye view of New Year’s Eve celebrations in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, according to a video circulating on social media platforms.

The video, which went viral on various platforms on Sunday, shows the UAE president sitting in the cockpit of a helicopter, monitoring the celebrations.

He was also seen watching record-breaking fireworks in Abu Dhabi as part of New Year’s celebrations. Three records were broken for the number, formation and duration of fireworks.

The UAE’s largest fireworks display lasted more than 40 minutes, with more than 3,000 drones flying over Al Wathba.
