Abu Dhabi: Residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are gearing up for a long Eid al-Adha holiday in 2023 by taking part in free fireworks displays at Dubai Festival City Mall, Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Here are all the details you need to check out on how to get to these destinations to explore the amazing fireworks displays.

Dubai Festival City Mall

On the second night of Eid al-Fitr, people can witness a fireworks celebration and a waterfront light show consisting of an immersive laser and fountain show.

At 8 p.m., fireworks and a waterfront show will begin.

Location: Crescent Road, Dubai Festival City Mall
When: If you plan to stay in the mall after the fireworks show, the mall stays open until 1 am on weekends and holidays.

how to get there

Visitors can take the Emirates Metro Station (Red Line). Then take the F08 feeder bus from Emirates Metro Bus Station – 02 to Dubai Festival City Mall.

Visitors who want to get directly to the Festival Bay area can do so via Abra. That’s it:

First, take the abra from Al Jaddaf Maritime Terminal to Dubai Festival City Maritime Terminal.

The journey takes 6 minutes and costs only 2 dirhams.

Dubai Parks and Resorts

From June 27 to July 1, visitors can enjoy five days of free fireworks displays at the amusement park.

Fireworks celebration will start at 9pm.

Entrance fees to parks and resorts

Fireworks at Dubai Parks and Resorts are free in light of Eid al-Adha, but visitors must pay to enter the theme park.

The price of a single ticket is 330 dirhams, and children under the age of three can enter for free.

However, tickets have also been eased. Visitors can also enter two parks with one ticket, starting from 395 dirhams per person.

Five Theme Parks Visitors Must Explore

  1. Legoland Dubai
  2. Legoland Water Park
  3. Dubai Sports Gate
  4. Dubai Creekland
  5. neon galaxy

Location: Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), opposite Palm Jebel Ali.
Time: Hours are from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm. Fireworks show will start at 9pm.

How to get there by public transport:

  • The best option would be to take the Red Line of the Dubai Metro towards Jebel Ali and depart at Ibn Battuta Metro Station.
  • Outside the subway station. Take the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) public shuttle bus from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Dubai Parks and Resorts.
  • The bus will drop off at the Dubai Parks and Resorts Bus Terminal.
  • The one-way fare is AED 5.
  • There is another option, take a taxi directly from Ibn Battuta metro station, the total cost is about 40-50 dirhams.
