Celebrating the UAE…
The United Arab Emirates will turn 51 on December 2, 2022, and to celebrate in true Dubai fashion, there will be celebratory fireworks around the city that you won’t want to miss.
On top of that, there will of course be a plethora of events, retail promotions, concerts and family friendly events. And, keep in mind, we’re also getting a public holiday, although the UAE government hasn’t officially announced it yet.
Here’s where you can watch Dubai’s fireworks on UAE National Day
Pointe, Palm Jumeirah
The Palm Jumeirah retail and entertainment destination will celebrate UAE National Day with fireworks on Friday 2 December at 9pm. You’ll be able to see sparkling performances from the east and west ends of The Pointe. Choose an al fresco restaurant or café so you can enjoy yourself at the event. It will be combined with a record-breaking fountain show.
Dubai Festival City Mall
Located in Festival City, this family destination will be hosting a fireworks display on Friday, December 2nd. Festival Bay will feature a live performance of the UAE National Anthem, as well as an amazing IMAGINE show with fountains, lights and lasers. Additionally, visitors can enjoy roaming entertainment, including traditional bands and drumming performances.While you’re here, make sure you check out Sound of the Gulf Some shopping and indulging in some food.
The timing of the fireworks display will be determined closer to the date.

The multicultural family destination has so much to keep visitors busy that you’ll want to keep coming back to see it all. There are firework displays every night on weekends and we’re sure they’ll be a big hit on UAE National Day.
