Amina AlMansoori from the UAE and Abdula AlBeeri from Qatar have been declared co-champions in the 7th edition of the Arab Reading Challenge. The prestigious award was presented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This year’s competition attracted the highest number of participants since its inception in 2015, with around 24.8 million students, including over 22,506 individuals with determination, representing 188,338 schools across 46 countries.
Promoting the Arabic Language Through Reading: Arab Reading Challenge
The Arab Reading Challenge encourages students from grades one to twelve to read in Arabic, promoting the use of their mother tongue in daily life and emphasizing the beauty of the language in various fields of study.
