KATHMANDU, Dec. 12 (PTI) At least 11 people were killed when the jeep they were traveling in crashed in Nepal’s Jajarkot district on Monday, police said.
Seven of the dead were from Sector 5, Chhedagad city, Jajarkot district, about 650 kilometers west of Kathmandu, the Himalayan Times reported.
Reports said the unfortunate Bolero jeep was bound for Lewa, Chhedagard city, with as many as 12 people on board.
Anjan Kumar Neupane, chief district officer for Jajarkot district, said a team of police officers was dispatched to the scene of the accident.

The exact reason behind the accident is unknown.
The police said they are currently investigating the case.
