According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Environment, Bhupender Yadav said in his speech at the meeting that there is a need for inclusive and sustainable policies to reduce inequality and promote empowerment and improve people’s quality of life.

G20 rotating presidency, blue economy, circular economy, land restoration and other issues were mentioned by ministers from the southern hemisphere.
According to the press release, the Union Environment Minister emphasized that large-scale environmental friendly action (LiFE action) on a global scale can make an important positive contribution to saving our common and only world.
