“As of today, I am no longer a member of PTI or any political party,” she declared.

At a news conference, Shireen Mazari condemned the violence and expressed solidarity with the victims and their families.

“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the events of May 9 and 10,” Mazari was quoted by ARY news as saying.

Mazari said she personally contacted the Islamabad High Court to investigate the matter.

She also stressed the importance of respecting state institutions and condemned any act of aggression against them.

According to ARY News, Mazari expressed her commitment to her children and mother, stressing that they are her top priority right now.

Mazari has been arrested several times since the May 9 incident. After the court ordered her release, she was taken away in a Vigo without a number plate, Dawn reported.
