New Delhi [India]April 10 (ANI): Ukraine’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova arrived in New Delhi on Monday for a four-day visit, the first official visit to the Eastern European country since the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict last year.
Japarova will hold talks with Foreign Minister (West) Sanjay Verma. The two sides are expected to discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on the current situation in Ukraine and global issues of mutual concern.
Ukraine’s deputy foreign minister will also call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lehi and, during his visit, meet with deputy national security adviser Vikram Misri, according to the foreign ministry.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has insisted that the Russia-Ukraine conflict can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy and that “India is ready to contribute to any peace effort”.
