India and Iraq held a second round of foreign ministry consultations in Baghdad on Monday. The Indian delegation was headed by Secretary (CPV and OIA) Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, while the Iraqi delegation was headed by Dr. Hisham Al Alawi, Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Secretary (CPV&OIA) met Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, Oil Minister Haiyan Abdul Ghani, Trade Minister Attil Daoud Salman, National Security Adviser Qassem al-Araj and Sunni Aqaf Board Chairman Dr. Meshane Hijraj, discussing bilateral, regional and international mutual interest.
