“As part of outreach, social media is used as a tool to connect with people and keep the public informed about parliamentary proceedings, committee meetings, visits by parliamentary delegations and other important parliamentary events. Reduce vehicle emissions and promote cleaner and greener environment, electric vehicles are being deployed to transport members of the Capitol,” he added in his speech.
Dy Chairman Rajya Sabha further added that the presiding officials of both houses of the Indian Parliament continue to be at the forefront of innovative measures to make Parliament a vibrant and vibrant institution.
Harivansh will lead the Indian delegation to the 26th Commonwealth Conference of Speakers and Conference Chairs (CSPOC) to be held in Canberra, Australia from 3-6 January 2023.
