Lahore [Pakistan]April 15 (ANI): Hundreds of power workers staged a large protest rally in front of LESCO (Lahore Electricity Supply Company) to demand a month’s wages, News International reported.

The All Pakistan Wapda Hydroelectric Workers Union organized a rally in front of Lesco’s headquarters in Lahore. The protesters demanded a performance bonus equivalent to a month’s salary.

Workers staged a demonstration on Wednesday as they urged the prime minister to intervene and save frontline workers from accidents that have claimed more than 66 lives, according to international news reports.
