According to Geo News, former Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar recently said that Bajwa assisted the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in the prosecution of former Prime Minister Imran Khan filed a motion of no confidence.

“Evidence of a no-confidence motion is imminent,” Hohar said in a television interview, the report said.

Recently, PTI chief Imran Khan claimed that Bajwa was planning to murder him and impose a state of emergency in the country, Dawn reported, citing Bol News.

The startling allegation is said to have been made during his interactions with the Bol News team in Lahore. Bol’s Lahore bureau chief Syed Khawar Abbas quoted Khan as saying he would make “more disclosures” about his assassination in Wazirabad at a news conference.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was voted out after losing a vote of confidence authorized by the Supreme Court ruling, despite repeated attempts by the PTI government to block a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly.

As many as 174 members of the 342-member House of Representatives voted in favor of the motion, with members of the ruling Pakistan Justice Institut (PTI) absent during the vote.

However, it took months to plan a motion against the country’s prime minister. (Arnie)
