Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India]Jan 10 (ANI): On Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu met Chandrikapersad Santokhi, President of the Republic of Suriname, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, during the 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas.

President Murmu said it was heartening to see him attend the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Congress, as she was pleased to note that even 150 years after leaving India, the Indian community in Suriname maintained its cultural identity, an official statement said.
