New Delhi [India]February 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi had an “enthusiastic and productive” phone call with US President Joe Biden, in which the two leaders welcomed the ongoing relationship between Air India and Boeing. The landmark agreement, which it sees as a “shining example of mutually beneficial cooperation”.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction at deepening the India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership, which has led to strong growth in all areas.

“The United States can and will lead the world in manufacturing. I am proud to announce today the purchase of more than 200 American-made aircraft through a historic agreement between Air India and Boeing,” he said.

“This procurement will support more than 1 million jobs in 44 US states, many of which do not require a four-year college degree. This announcement also reflects the strength of the US-India economic partnership.
