Both leaders expressed satisfaction at deepening the India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership, which has led to strong growth in all areas.
They expressed a strong desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation in space, semiconductors, supply chain and defense joint production.
“They welcomed the announcement of a landmark agreement between Air India and Boeing, a shining example of mutually beneficial cooperation that will help create new jobs in both countries,” said a PMO press release.
Prime Minister Modi invited Boeing and other US companies to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the development of India’s civil aviation industry.

Biden had earlier announced the deal between Boeing and Air India.
In a statement from the White House, Biden said the announcement reflected the strength of the US-India economic partnership.
“The United States can and will lead the world in manufacturing. I am proud to announce today the purchase of more than 200 American-made aircraft through a historic agreement between Air India and Boeing,” he said.
“This procurement will support more than 1 million jobs in 44 US states, many of which do not require a four-year college degree. This announcement also reflects the strength of the US-India economic partnership. I join Prime Minister Modi in looking forward to We continue to deepen our partnership as we continue to address our shared global challenges – creating a more secure and prosperous future for all our citizens,” he added.
