A protest camp is near the Jamrud Bypass against the merger of FATA and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani dialect media Aeen reported.

Jirga Elders Afarsayab Afridi, Sher Bahadur Afridi and others stated that the amalgamation of the FATA is a plot to seize the natural resources of the area which is unacceptable and the people of the FATA have become part of a plot that we cannot tolerate slave.

According to the Pakistani Daily, they demanded the abolition of illegal taxes, the restoration of seats in the National Assembly and the Senate, and the restoration of tribal culture and values, otherwise, FATA should become a separate province.

According to Pakistani vernacular media reports, even after three years of amalgamation, the tribal people are not happy at all and are dissatisfied with the measures and policies adopted by the government as their problems are increasing day by day.

Many tribes prefer jirga to judiciary to solve their problems. People who were against the merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa became active in this situation and tried to convince the tribes that the merger was a mistake and the result was in sight. (Arnie)
