dubai [UAE]7th July (ANI/WAM): du, the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), today announced significant progress in its sustainability journey, recycling more than 14,000 kilograms of waste and planting 14 trees.
The achievement is the result of du’s partnership with the Emirates Environment Group (EEG) on the ‘For Our UAE, We Grow’ initiative.

As part of this ambitious sustainability plan, du’s specialist warehouse team worked with EEG to successfully recycle a total of 13,040kg of paper and 1,240kg of plastic. These efforts have significantly reduced waste production and made a tangible contribution to environmental protection.
EEG recognized du’s outstanding commitment to sustainable development by awarding the company the opportunity to plant 14 trees under the ‘Grow for Our UAE’ programme. The move is an important part of the larger One Roots Same Trees project. (ANI/WAM)
