Xi Jinping told the Chinese army to hurry up to prepare for war | DayDayNews World News

The mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party said Chinese President Xi Jinping told the People’s Liberation Army to “go all out” to prepare for war.

The People’s Daily, which included a photo of Xi Jinping wearing a military uniform when he inspected the command center, reported that Xi said the army should “comprehensively strengthen military training and prepare for war.”

Xi Jinping had earlier warned at the Communist Party Congress that a “dangerous storm” was coming.

“whole-heartedly [your] Fighting spirit, hard work, keep improving [your] capable of winning,” Xi was quoted as saying. He reportedly further said that the military must also “resolutely defend national sovereignty and national security” as China is in an “unstable and uncertain” security situation.

Xi Jinping issued a similar order shortly after he came to power in 2013 and again in 2017.

At the Communist Party meeting, Xi implicitly slammed the United States for growing support for Taiwan, accusing “foreign interference” of fueling tensions. Xi, who sees the occupation of Taiwan as a key part of his legacy, later said, “We will never commit to renounce the use of force.”
