Leading water technology company Xylem has announced the opening of a new 10,000 sqm service center in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The move is aimed at strengthening its position in the Middle East to better address the region’s water-related challenges.
The facility has a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory and rental center in the UAE and has been developed with an investment of AED 1.2 million.
It will be equipped with a cleaning booth, lifting and handling cranes and tools, trimming and balancing machines, original spare parts, test benches, painting booths, programming and calibration equipment and fixtures.
Naji Skaf, Xylem’s Managing Director (Middle East and Turkey), said: “Through this expansion, we seek to strengthen our presence in the Middle East and provide a range of benefits, including faster turnaround, greater convenience and access to our customer of.”
“The new facility will allow us to respond faster to any customer needs and provide tailored solutions, such as specialist real-time intervention – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service center currently employs over 16 staff, including engineers and technicians and will create 300 jobs,” he explained.
