Some of you millennials may remember the 1995 movie “Water World”, which starred the epoch-making box office hit-Kevin Costner.

This film broke the production cost record at the time. Sadly, after the bad reviews-the film plummeted and fell into film obscurity (though it is not actually a bad post-apocalyptic storytelling).

Abu Dhabi’s own water world, the theme park “Yas Water World”, will hope to break records in a more passionate way on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 26. They will host six independent Guinness World Record attempts, including…

“The fastest time to knock down 10 targets with a water gun”-kick open the salon door and challenge you to a midday duel. This record-setting attempt requires quick fingers, a firm stream, a stable target and a little old-fashioned, evil The wild west luck of the wick draw.

“The fastest time to collect five water balls on the water bed”-Niche. Pretty sure we saw this on Transworld Sports on a Sunday morning in the early 2000s. The skills required for this record are keeping calm, ball control and balance under (water) pressure.

“Move most of the water with a sponge in one minute”-In the most fascinating challenge this weekend, it seems that whether you are destined to be included in the Guinness Book of History will be determined by a fairly arbitrary person on the scale of the sponge’s ability to retain water. May you summon the spirit of square pants.

If you successfully complete the challenge, you will receive the “Official Stunning” certificate.
