Simon Cowell is reportedly looking to ditch his career and start a new one by signing a multi-million dollar ad deal for a new mobile game.
According to reports sunThe music mogul, who has been talking about balancing his work and personal life since his life-threatening accident, has signed the deal.
An insider speaking to the publication called the deal an “odd choice” for Cowell, referring to Cowell’s career as a TV personality and reality show judge.
Cowell recently filmed an ad for Royal Match, a game fans can play on their smartphones, sources said.
“Simon rarely gets his name on any ads, but this offer was too good to turn down,” the source said.
“He’s going to make seven figures from this mobile game ad. Simon filmed the movie last week and it will air in the next few months,” the source added.
“It seemed like an odd choice for Simon to command a cell phone for someone who didn’t have one. But executives thought he was the perfect fit.”
Cowell, who has previously been candid about finding a balance between work and his personal life, revealed he has decided to spend more time with his son Eric in the wake of the pandemic.
