In the first half of 2023, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM), within the Support Services Sector, achieved significant progress in digitalization, e-archiving of documents, and employee training.
Digitalization: ADM successfully digitized 685,333 files across various sectors and departments, achieving a 100% completion rate. They also digitized contractor and supplier evaluation processes by implementing the Oracle system, eliminating paper forms, and achieving 100% performance indicators.
Employee Upskilling: ADM, through the Support Services Sector, conducted numerous training sessions, including 651 online courses on the Coursera platform, 321 mandatory job-related training sessions, 469 competency-enhancing courses, 53 employee workshops, and training for 520 personnel in environmental, health, and safety protocols.
Furthermore, ADM engaged in various initiatives, such as:
- “Mentor sessions” with the Director General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality to enhance employees’ understanding of their institutional rights and responsibilities.
- “We are all accountable” initiative, sharing educational insights aligned with operational requirements.
- Hosting 35 trainees from the alternative national service, providing them with job-based training.
- Completing the rehabilitation of residential building facades in Al Bahia area and refurbishing and painting the facades of the Green Market in Al Shahama.
- Participation in community and awareness events organized by the municipality and its branches.
- Hosting a recreational event for employees and their children at “Aa Al Bahr” beach on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
