Dubai bans sharing details of Grade 7 student’s death

Dubai’s Attorney-General, Essam Issa Al Humaidan, has imposed a ban on the publication of any details or images concerning the seventh-grade child’s death, showing respect for the grieving family.

This decision comes in response to the spread of false information on social media platforms.

The ban encompasses all forms of media, including print, audio, visual, and social media, and it explicitly forbids any opinions or comments on the incident.

Al Humaidan emphasized the role of misinformation in causing unnecessary panic within society regarding sensitive matters.
