 A Journey from IT to Photography:
Siddharth, an engineer by education, initially pursued a career in IT while living in the US. Despite his technical background, he had an innate talent for observing and capturing intricate moments. His passion for photography began in his small room during the winters when outdoor activities were limited due to early sunsets. Siddharth’s journey took a new direction when he returned to India in 2012.
 Serendipity Leads to a New Path
In 2014, a friend asked Siddharth to photograph his wedding, marking Siddharth’s first step into the world of professional photography. Despite his initial introverted nature and reservations, he discovered his passion for wedding photography and the joy it brought.

Siddharth’s decision to transition from IT to photography gained momentum after he received overwhelming feedback from the wedding photos he shared on social media. In 2015, he secured his first paid wedding photography project. Balancing his IT career with weekend photography assignments for the next two years, Siddharth set a personal benchmark to switch careers only when he could match his annual IT salary through photography. One month before his own wedding in 2016, he achieved this goal, solidifying his commitment to his newfound profession.

Siddharth’s Mumbai and Bengaluru-based company, House On The Clouds, specializes in photography and filmmaking services, with a primary focus on weddings. He emphasizes the importance of curiosity, technical expertise, and attention to detail in his line of work. Siddharth and his team maintain an avant-garde approach to wedding photography, embracing the beauty and chaos of weddings to capture the essence of each moment.
 A Journey of Celebrities and Visionaries
Over the years, House On The Clouds has documented numerous weddings worldwide. In addition to wedding photography, they have collaborated on projects with renowned companies and visionaries such as Torani, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosala, Kama Ayurveda, Falguni Shane, and Arpita Mehta.
 Capturing Celebrity Weddings
Siddharth’s team has been a part of celebrity weddings, including those of Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, Kiara Advani-Siddharth Malhotra, Alanna Panday-Ivor McCray, and most recently, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha. He notes the unique experience of witnessing actors genuinely expressing their personalities on their special day.

Dubai holds a special place in Siddharth’s heart, and he visits the city at least twice a year for photography. The stunning landscapes, including the Hatta mountains and the desert, offer diverse backdrops for their work. Siddharth also appreciates Dubai’s opulent settings for photoshoots, such as Al Seef and The Palm.
 A Future Full of Aspirations
Siddharth envisions diversifying into various photography and film genres, engaging in international projects, and exploring new cultures and perspectives. He plans to expand into commercials and music videos, all driven by his unwavering passion for his work and a deep appreciation of family time spent with his wife and two daughters.
