Hyther Nizam, President and VP of Products for Middle East and Africa (MEA) at  Indian Tech Firm Zoho, shared insights into the company’s trajectory, highlighting the pivotal role played by its Dubai office in propelling further growth. “Our journey in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region began with our first office in Dubai, serving as a catalyst for expansion. We’ve been steadfast in our mission to empower SMEs and entrepreneurs across all industries,” Nizam conveyed in an interview with Khaleej Times.

He emphasized that Zoho has become the preferred choice for large corporations, offering a comprehensive suite of tools to streamline their operations effectively.

Zoho’s early embrace of artificial intelligence over a decade ago, coupled with its staunch support for digitalization initiatives, has positioned it as a trailblazer in the industry. The company’s wallet credit provision programs, established in collaboration with various government entities such as the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Culture and International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), have facilitated the transition of over 5000 companies in the UAE to cloud-based solutions, accelerating their digital transformation journey.

Amidst rising costs in sales and marketing,Indian Tech Firm Indian Tech Firm Zoho observes a significant impact on pricing strategies across the industry. Nizam pointed out, “Businesses seeking value may find opportunities with vendors prioritizing research and development (R&D) over extravagant marketing budgets. Currency fluctuations further complicate matters for businesses operating internationally, underscoring the importance of vendors offering local currency pricing for enhanced cost predictability.”

With a steadfast focus on delivering value and affordability, Zoho is well-positioned to capitalize on this evolving landscape, leveraging its commitment to R&D to meet the evolving needs of businesses.

The migration of large corporations to Zoho platforms has witnessed a remarkable 24% increase in 2023. Nizam reflected on the challenges faced by businesses globally in recent years, from the financial strains imposed by the pandemic to the looming specter of economic slowdown. “In such times, companies must make judicious investments, prioritizing cost-efficiency and maximizing value,” he emphasized.

In the MENA region, Indian Tech Firm Zoho actively collaborates with public and private sector organizations, fostering a close partnership to better understand and address local needs. “Our localization efforts have been significantly bolstered in recent years, with an expanded portfolio of regionally-specific solutions and features,” Nizam noted. Indian Tech Firm  Zoho’s commitment to localization extends to the introduction of regionally-specific product editions and planned integrations with local payment vendors to enhance user experience.

Furthermore, Indian Tech Firm  Zoho remains dedicated to developing contextually relevant AI features within its core products, ensuring that AI functionalities cater to the specific requirements of local customers. Nizam affirmed, “This focus on localization and contextualization underscores our commitment to providing tailored solutions that resonate with our diverse clientele across the MENA region.”
