In a world where industries evolve faster than ever, only a few leaders manage to stay ahead of the curve while remaining deeply grounded in purpose and human values. UAE Times had the privilege of sitting down with Alessandro Ciacchini, an international entrepreneur whose journey spans real estate, fintech, and cross-border finance. Known for his clarity of thought, relentless drive, and ability to connect with people across cultures and generations, Alessandro’s story is a testament to curiosity, resilience, and meaningful leadership. In this exclusive interview, he shares the milestones that shaped his career, the philosophy that guides his decisions, and his perspective on the future of innovation and human potential.
How would you describe your professional journey so far?
A bit of an adventure, honestly. I never followed a rigid plan I followed my curiosity and the opportunities that came my way. And yes, I’m Italian creating beauty and giving every project an extra touch is not just something we do; it’s in our DNA.
One project led to the next, often in places I never expected. From real estate to fintech and cross-border finance, my journey has been shaped by curiosity and the desire to build things that work in the real world.
What have been the main challenges you’ve faced, and how did you overcome them?
Once you find something truly valuable, you must work relentlessly. Stay focused on what you want and choose the right people to walk the path with you. After that, everything becomes easier or at least more manageable.
Sleepless nights, difficult moments, and the need to make decisions within minutes knowing they’ll affect your life and the lives of those who rely on you all become part of the journey.
The hardest part of being an entrepreneur is not losing your empathy, even when faced with decisions you wish you never had to make.
Which professional achievement are you most proud of, and why?
Helping build financial platforms that genuinely improve access to credit for businesses. The work around KEO and its combination with Maha Capital stands out not just because it’s a major transaction, but because it creates long-term impact.
On a personal level, connecting with young people teaching while learning from them is something I consider both a professional and a human achievement. At my not-so-young age, it means a lot to bridge generations and grow together.

What key qualities must a successful leader have today?
Clarity, speed, and integrity. Clarity to navigate complexity, speed to make decisions when timing matters, and integrity because trust is the real currency. Stay curious, play with intensity. And as the Romans said: “Festina Lente” move fast, but wisely.
How do you stay motivated during uncertain moments?
By zooming out. When things get difficult, I remind myself of the bigger picture. Strong teams, structured thinking, and a bit of stubborn optimism keep me moving forward.
What role has innovation played in your decisions?
A huge one. I am naturally drawn to ideas that scale and simplify complex processes.
In fintech, innovation is not decoration it is infrastructure.
How do you approach teamwork in international projects?
With simplicity: clear roles, direct communication, and mutual respect. People from different cultures work differently and that becomes a strength when coordinated well.
What advice would you give to young professionals?
Be curious, stay humble, and learn fast. Try things. Don’t worry about having everything figured out at 25. Above all, protect your reputation. Many things will change, but your reputation will stay with you for your entire life.
What changes do you foresee in Artificial Intelligence?
AI will become the silent engine behind almost everything. It won’t replace people it will expand what we’re capable of. The opportunity is enormous. We will see the world transformed by AI, but the mistakes along the way won’t be AI’s fault they will be the result of humans making the wrong choices.
So let’s worry less about the decisions AI makes, and more about the people who will be making them.
How important has family been in your career?
Family is the compass. They provide balance, perspective, and meaning. They are the grounding force behind every accomplishment. Without family, life would be nothing more than a series of transfers from one place to another with no real purpose.
As Alessandro Ciacchini continues to leave his mark across financial, technological, and global industries, one thing becomes clear: his journey is guided by curiosity, discipline, and a profound respect for people. His insights remind us that success is not only measured by achievements, but by integrity, empathy, and the legacy we build for future generations. UAE Times is honoured to share this inspiring conversation a reflection of leadership that is both modern and timeless.
