JAKARTA (ANTARA) – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Mrs. Iriana arrived in Abu Dhabi at 2:15 local time on Friday to meet with United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed Bilateral meeting between bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

President Jokowi is visiting the UAE to discuss economic cooperation and investment as part of a working visit following his visit to Ukraine and Russia.
In a press statement before taking off from Tangerang Soekarno-Hatta Airport on June 26, Jokowi said the UAE will be the last country he will visit after attending the G7 summit in Germany. Jokowi also earlier met separately with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin to talk about global peace and the disruption of food supply chains due to the conflict between the two countries.
“I would like to resume discussions with the United Arab Emirates on economic cooperation and investment between Indonesia and the UAE,” Jokowi said in a June 26 press statement.
