Dihad and Axios join forces to deliver medical supplies worldwide

[ad_1]

As part of the Forevercare initiative, the Dihad Sustainable Humanitarian Foundation has signed an agreement with Axios International to help people around the world in need of medicines.

The landmark agreement relates to the UAE’s approach to humanitarian efforts, aiming to provide treatment to patients in need through sustainable solutions and ensure stability in charitable work in the medical sector.

The agreement stipulates that the collaboration with Axios International is aimed at exchanging expertise in the humanitarian field and spreading awareness of the importance of delivering medicines to countries in need. It also aims to provide medicines, medical supplies and humanitarian aid through its network of experts in the field.

Improve access to healthcare

Dr Abdul Salam Al Madani, Ambassador of the GCC Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the Dihad Sustainable Humanitarian Foundation, said: “This agreement is the result of Dihad’s efforts to strengthen formal and fraternal relations between the various humanitarian and health sectors. The Forevercare Initiative provides medicines, medical supplies and many other forms of humanitarian assistance to countries around the world each year.

“Our goal is to improve access to innovative treatments and medicines in low-income communities around the world, especially those who cannot afford to pay for their disease.

He added: “The agreement will also help to identify the challenges facing the medical and pharmaceutical industries in general and work towards finding appropriate solutions and advanced mechanisms for action based on global standards, which is a great way to build partnerships between different industries. A good example of a shared commitment to enhancing patient care. This will help deliver a wider range of innovative medicines to those affected and ultimately give them greater hope for a better life.”

Quality Standard

Anas Nawfal Al Saffarini, Senior Director, Greater Central Region, Axios International, said: “This reflects Axios’ commitment to meeting the needs of patients around the world with efficiency, speed and the highest quality standards. We believe in joining forces to create an outstanding partnership that benefits all importance.”

The Forevercare initiative, which collects medicines and medical supplies from companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide to countries in need, was launched during the 18th Dubai International Conference and Exhibition on Humanitarian Aid and Development – Dihad, helping to further develop The UAE’s imprint on all humanitarian spheres and strengthens the interdependence and cohesion of the international community.
