Dr. Omar Al Hashmi, Chief Clinical Affairs Officer, Ambulatory Healthcare Services, said: “The first version of the app was highly used by the community with over 60,000 downloads and over 73,000 appointments booked through it. With the new update, the company will be able to book appointments for its employees in a few simple steps, and the online prepayment option will no longer require the use of cash. In addition to the recent launch of a mobile visa clinic for companies, we are continuously working to support our corporate partners through Utilize the latest technology in the UAE and open centres to provide them with easy access to our services.”

Before obtaining or renewing a visa, residents of Abu Dhabi must go to the Centre for Disease Prevention and Screening for a medical examination. Previously, customers accessed these centres on a walk-in basis, but with the new app, residents can now choose an allotted time that works for them, ensuring the process is seamless.

SEHA’s Center for Disease Prevention and Screening – accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) – provides a full range of medical services for the visa process, including Express Entry and Advanced options at selected locations. They also provide infectious disease screening and prevention services in Abu Dhabi as a professional unit.

In addition to Sweihan, Madinat Zayed, Delma, Sila, Ghayathi and Al Marfa, SEHA currently operates 12 disease prevention and screening centres in Abu Dhabi City, Mussafah, Al Shahama, Baniyas and the Etihad Visa Screening Centre. Additionally, SEHA recently launched a mobile visa screening clinic for companies.

All vaccinated tourists must present a green pass for Al Hosn, while unvaccinated tourists must present a negative PCR result within the past 96 hours.
