Five of the most popular destinations to visit by private jet

[ad_1]

pent-up demand has led to a boom in private jet charters as the tourism and hospitality sectors rebound after slumps over the past few years, an industry expert said, listing five of the most popular destinations for private jets.

“Dubai is strategically located at the crossroads of East and West, with many wonderful destinations within a six to eight hour flight radius,” added Dmitriy Korshunov, CEO of leading charter broker Delta World Charter (DWC).

“Travelers from the Middle East have a strong interest in luxury shopping, art and culture, making some destinations more popular than others. While London has historically been one of the most attractive holiday destinations, We are seeing the rise of new regional hotspots like Al Ula.”

Milan, Italy
Dubai (DXB) to Milan (MXP): 6 hours by heavy jet; up to 13 passengers, from $60,000

Known for its style and elegance, its majestic architecture and the old-fashioned romanticism that runs through its streets, Milan is not to be missed. With fewer tourists than Venice and Rome, but just as much to see, Milan is the perfect urban leisure destination. Cultural connoisseurs can admire some of the world’s most revered artworks, from Umberto Boccioni and Lucio Fontana to Leonardo da Vinci’s most iconic painting The Last Supper”.

Milan’s masterpieces are all over the streets: the stunning Arcade of Vittorio Emanuele II, a 19th-century shopping plaza; the Sforza Castle, which takes you to another world; the legendary La Scala opera house ; not to mention the Naviglio Grande – the perfect canal for a boat trip at sunset. In September, the city is buzzing with Milan Fashion Week, the biggest event of the year in the city.

London, UK
Dubai (DXB) to London (LHR): 8 hours by heavy jet; up to 13 passengers, from $72K

Every street is full of history and character, and London is never boring. It’s the perfect melting pot of cultural influences from all over the world, just like Dubai.

Shop in the charming boutiques of charming Oxford Street or Carnaby Street, head to London’s West End, watch a world-famous musical or ballet in SoHo, and marvel at the winding Thames, the famous Big Ben and the West End Top of the London Eye in Minster, or take a break from the crowds at the fantastic Kew Gardens just a stone’s throw from central London.

Of course, London is said to be just as fun at night as it is during the day, with many great shows, restaurants and clubs open until the wee hours of the morning.

Al Ullah, Saudi Arabia
Dubai (DXB) to Ullah (ULH): 2 hours 40 meters by medium jet; up to 6 passengers from USD 30,000

Steeped in 200,000 years of history, this surprisingly cool destination is a lush oasis in the desert; the perfect place for rest and adventure. Whether it’s resting and relaxing among palm trees and mountains, or hiking and adventure sports, Al Ula offers plenty of options, including state-of-the-art ziplines and helicopter rides for breathtaking views.

September marks the return of the Kingdom’s first music festival, Azimuth. This three-day intimate celebration of music, art and food, featuring sunrise and sunset shows, is a popular ticket for music and art lovers. Winter at Tantora (December 21-January 21) is another draw, with this year’s experience including innovative dining, haute couture, immersive art, outdoor theatre and more.

During the day, visitors can explore the monuments, sandstone outcrops and famous ancient Nabataean tombs of Hegra, the same civilization that built Petra in Jordan. These resting places, carved with intricate inscriptions that still exist today, carry Arabic origins and provide insight into Nabataean customs and ways of life. The journey to Al Ula will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Maldives
Dubai (DXB) to Male (MLE): 4 hours 10m by medium jet; up to 8 passengers, from $56K

Come to the beach and stop by the vibrant culture, history and food! With azure blue waters, sparkling white sand beaches and swaying palm trees, the Maldives is the place to experience magic. Each resort is an independent sanctuary on stilts in the Arabian Sea. Numerous activities and water sports such as kayaking, jet skiing, snorkeling and deep-water diving allow visitors to take in the beauty of coral reefs and friendly marine life, while for thrill seekers, swim with sharks.

There’s a lot to experience in the Maldives: superb seafood, Bodu Beru dancing by the sea, and more. Spend at least one night on Vaadhoo Island in Raa Atoll – when you step into the water, this bioluminescent bacteria lights up the water with millions of tiny blue specks, making you feel like you’re walking among the stars.

Paris France
Dubai (DXB) to Cannes (CEQ): 6 hours 20m by heavy jet; up to 13 passengers, from $60,000

In May, the Cannes Film Festival is world-famous, with A-list stars flocking to the seaside town. The International Boat Show later this year near Paris Fashion Week in October also attracts visitors from the Middle East.

Paris is only an hour away by plane from Cannes, which is so convenient. The City of Love is perfect for everyone, warm weather and cold, rain and sunshine, quiet corners and bustling streets, full of glitz and glamour. Dinner on a romantic Eiffel tour, stroll through the beautiful gardens of Versailles, watch a show at the Moulin Rouge, soak up the breathtaking views of Montmartre, shop at Galeries Lafayette, and visit the Musée d’Orsay and the Louvre. From café culture to haute couture, Paris is a world in its own right – and it encompasses so much. – arab trade news agency
