Abu Dhabi: Two Indian expats from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have won the grand prize of AED 100,000 (Rs 21,70,220) in the 91st Mahzooz weekly draw in Dubai.
In the weekly live draw on Saturday 27th August, draw winners Kader Sarbhudeen Kabebulla and Ashith Sasidharan Kunnummal matched five of the six winning numbers.
Kader, 28, has lived and worked in Abu Dhabi for seven years.
After learning that he had won, a thrilled Card told Mazuz the draw: “I am very happy. This time, I truly believe that life has finally smiled on me. Every time I manage to save a little bit of money, whether it’s from my salary Or a tip from my job, I would buy a Mahzooz ticket right away and hope my dreams come true. Now I can say for sure that they are.”
Kader plans to use his big win to settle his financial debts and invest in the UAE.
Ashith, 30, is an engineer who has lived in the UAE for the past nine years. With the money, he is planning to explore some investment opportunities in the country.
Abner from Nigeria also won Dh100,000 in the weekly draw.
However, in the 91st Mahzooz weekly draw, 73 winners won AED 1,000,000 (Rs 2,17,02,200) and walked away at AED 13,698 each.
To date, Mahzooz has created 27 multi-millionaires in just two years.
To date, more than 50,000 entrants from India have become Mahzooz winners, with more than 3,000 winning first and second prizes.
