Live music performances include:

Family night. There will be basketball games, bouncing houses, hot dogs, chips and a popcorn movie. The event begins at 6 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran, 421 S. Peoria Ave., Dixon.

Fire Celebration. The Stirling Fire Department will commemorate its 150th anniversary with cakes, cookies, demonstrations, games and educational materials at the station at 110 West Fifth Street in Stirling on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.

Be free and uninhibited. The Rock Falls Youth Center Dance will be held at the Rock Falls Community Building on Saturday at 7pm. The DJ will play teen’s favorite hits. For students in grades 6-8. The fee is $3. For more information, call the Coloma Park District at 815-625-0272.

Run (pass) the mill event. The Grist Mill Grind 10K and Fun Walk will be held at Franklin Creek State Natural Area on Saturday at 8am. Proceeds from this event will go to the Franklin Creek Conservancy for park planning, expansion and improvement.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children.
