Air Arabia Abu Dhabi opens new route to Beirut

Abu Dhabi Airways, the capital’s first low-cost airline, has announced the launch of a new route from Abu Dhabi to Beirut, Lebanon.

From 30 October 2022, the new direct flight will connect Abu Dhabi International Airport and Beiru Trafic Hariri International Airport three times a week.

Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali said: “We are delighted to add Beirut to Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s growing network of direct flights. The new service reaffirms our commitment to continuously provide our customers with a wider range of Affordable air travel options while contributing to the growth of travel and tourism in Abu Dhabi by increasing direct connections to and from the capital.”

The new route to Lebanon is the first direct flight to Abu Dhabi International Airport by Abu Dhabi Airways after Egypt, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Nepal, Sudan, Pakistan, Oman, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia. 25 destinations.

The airline continues its expansion plans with a growing fleet, from two Airbus A320s at launch to eight new aircraft today.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi Airways operates the Airbus A320-200 aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single-aisle aircraft in the world. With 174 seats, the aircraft has one of the widest seat pitches of any economy class, thus providing extra comfort.

The plane is also equipped with “SkyTime,” a free in-flight streaming service that allows passengers to stream a variety of entertainment programs directly to their devices.
