UAE-India flight prices drop to one-year low; see fare details

Abu Dhabi: Airfares from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to several Indian cities have dropped to their lowest levels this year, with most returning from summer vacations.

A one-way ticket from the UAE to certain Indian cities can now be purchased for AED 300 (Rs 6,487), while the fare from India to the UAE is around AED 1,000 (Rs 21,624).

This is the best time to travel to India. The next 15 days are good for travel, as airfare prices are at their lowest levels of the year.

Airfare prices are still more expensive than two years ago at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and many people are reluctant to travel for fear of being stranded abroad.

Airfare prices will rise

According to media reports, airfares from the UAE to India or upcoming festivals – Dussehra and Diwali could go up by the end of September.

Hotels and flights are already booked ahead of the festive holiday, with some hotels in Bur Dubai claiming that 100% of their bookings are made during the festive holiday.
