Vistara launches direct flights from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi

Vistara will launch its maiden voyage between Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) and Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) later this day. The commemorative flight will depart BOM at 19:10 IST and arrive at AUH at 20:40 GST.The three-hour flight will make Vistara the first airline to offer premium economy seats route In addition to economy class and award-winning business class. The route operates once a day, with one aircraft departing and returning from BOM each day.

Preferred aircraft

Register VT-TQH, a Airbus A320neo, made the initial flight.The airline may continue to use its Airbus A320 family members, as the route is shorter and the number of the aircraft is much greater than Boeing 737. The airline currently has five 737s, two 787-9 Dreamliner41 A320s and 5 A321neos.
