PESHAWAR, Oct 5 (PTI) Security forces killed four terrorists in an exchange of fire during an operation in Pakistan’s volatile Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Wednesday.
The encounter began Tuesday when seven militants on bicycles opened fire on security forces in the tank area, a statement from the military said.

In retaliation for the blaze, troops killed four militants and seized heavy automatic weapons and seven bicycles from the scene.
Troops have been conducting search operations in the La Noire area of the tank zone where the incident occurred.
Searches are underway to apprehend the remaining terrorists, the report added.
No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Tuesday’s incident was the second such attack after Pakistani security forces vehicles were attacked by Pakistani Taliban (TTP) militants in the Hasankhel sub-district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday. PTI AYZ PY
