flydubai, a Dubai-based airline, continues to expand its presence in the island nation of Maldives with the launch of a new daily service to Gan International Airport (GAN) from 4 February 2023.
flydubai started operations in the Maldives in 2013 with direct flights to Velana International Airport (MLE) in the capital Male. The airline will increase its market frequency to 28 weekly flights with the new Gansu daily flight service starting next year.
Commenting on the start of operations to Gan Island, flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said: “Our daily flights to the southern Gan Island will give our passengers more options to travel to the beautiful Maldives.
