Israeli president and Indian prime minister to participate in Abu Dhabi space debate

israeli president Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi Will be at the Space Conference in Abu Dhabi next month.

This Abu Dhabi Space Debate It will be held at the Adnoc Business Center from December 5th to 6th.

Mr Herzog will attend in person and Mr Modi will speak via video link.

The conference will bring together politicians and industry leaders in space, avionics and defense technology.

Topics discussed will include space geopolitics, the rise of the private sector in space exploration, the weaponization of space assets, sustainability, and the role of space systems in defense and intelligence.

Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency, said: “At a time when the world is facing unprecedented challenges, the platform plays a vital role in building consensus, cooperation and development. crucial role in this vital area.”

“This is an important goal for us as we are discussing the world’s emerging space nations as well as representatives of traditional players,” Ms Al Amiri said.

“To this end, we are delighted to join representatives of Romania, Rwanda, Norway, the Philippines and Portugal’s space agencies, as well as pioneers from the global private sector.

“Some of the most exciting developments in the field are now coming from these young players who are driving the global demand for access to space.”

Speakers will include strategists such as Dr. George Friedman, founder of the online publication Geopolitical Future, and Dr. Robin Geiss, Director of the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research.

There will be representatives from more than 30 countries including Saudi Arabia, the United States, India, the United Kingdom, South Korea, France and Japan.

The private sector will also be heavily involved, including Airbus, Northrop Grumman, Thales and Amazon.
