Ripe Market will be at al maria i..
The market, known for its many local vendors, will open on the island of Abu Dhabi on 2 December.
The boutique market, which has been a winter staple at Dubai Police Academy Park for several years, will be open every Friday and Saturday until next April.
Dozens of local businesses will be selling a range of products in the market, from food to fashion and homeware.
Similar to Dubai’s outdoor markets, Ripe has arranged some family-friendly activities and entertainment for Abu Dhabi, including a petting zoo and live music.
Over the years, the market has also become a gathering place for foodies, and although the specific brands have not been disclosed, in addition to a variety of food and drink options such as burgers, hot dogs and pizza, Ripe, there will be live cooking stations confirmed.
Becky Balderstone, founder of Ripe Market, said: “We have a lot of exciting additions that we haven’t had in Abu Dhabi before, from events and events to hot new food concepts and more.”
“Visitors can shop at local artisans, traders and manufacturers, and enjoy live music, entertainment and workshops in a luxurious destination with stunning ocean views.”
This is the first time Ripe has brought its weekend market to Al Maryah Island, in partnership with Abu Dhabi wealth fund Mubadala. It has previously hosted pop-ups in the capital’s Masdar City and Umm Emmarat Park.

Ripe started in 2011 as a weekly farmers market but has grown into a family favorite outdoor spot with its permanent location in Umm Suqeim.
During the warmer months, Ripe Market temporarily closes its outdoor location and opens a pop-up store inside the mall.
Ripe Market Al Maryah Island is open every Friday and Saturday from 3pm to 10pm.More information at Deli Network
