Stryde opens new support warehouse and training facility in Dubai

Seismic technology company Stryde is expanding its presence in the Middle East in Dubai with the opening of a new multi-million dollar multi-purpose warehouse.

New site in Jebel Ali Free Zone capable of storing over 1 million land seismic nodes, available for purchase or lease, and features company’s containerized node management system, designed for large-scale seismic surveys in Middle East, Africa, India , Australia and the Far East.

Linked to the company’s current locations in London, Norway and Houston, the warehouse will also provide Stryde users with classroom and hands-on training facilities, as well as the ability to learn node deployment and retrieval activities at its secure premises, the company said.

The new Middle East hub, located in one of the world’s strongest business ecosystems, will enable the business to support the rapid movement of its customers and continue its global growth, it said.

As the world’s smallest, lightest and most affordable nodal seismic imaging systems, Stryde’s seismic solutions are widely used in the energy industry during exploration and production. The flexibility and affordability of this technology is also playing an increasingly important role in the development of emerging new energy sources and in geotechnical risk studies.

Kevin O’Connell, Head of Field Operations at Stryde, said: “We are very excited to open our multi-purpose warehouse in Dubai to service a recently awarded contract, with dedicated training facilities and base engineers from our expert field support team will enable us to Provide real-time support to customers.”

Sam Moharir, Head of Business Development for Stryde in the Middle East and North Africa, said: “The past 24 months have been transformative for Stryde in the Middle East region, where more than 400,000 nodes are working across 12 separate campaigns, including Largest Nodal Seismic Survey. We continue to see demand for our technology grow exponentially as the cost and operational benefits required for nodal seismic acquisition become a reality.”

The new facility will also serve as a global center for rapid turnaround of Stryde’s unrivaled rental inventory. – trade arab news agency
