Former British Prime Minister David Cameron will teach at NYU Abu Dhabi next year.

Cameron served from 2010 to 2016 and resigned after Britain voted to leave the European Union.

“Yes, David Cameron will be teaching the three-week course,” the university said in confirming the progress.

Cameron will teach at the university in January as part of the J-Term course, which is offered “in many parts of the world”.

“Many courses are open not only to NYU Abu Dhabi students but also to full-time undergraduate students at NYU NYU and NYU Shanghai as sophomores, juniors or seniors. These courses allow students from Abu Dhabi, New York and Students on the Shanghai campus have the opportunity to study together and experience the rich diversity of NYU’s global network,” NYU said.

“The J-Term course is taught by renowned academics, authors, artists, journalists, and policy analysts who teach only in the January term, as well as distinguished professors from NYU and NYU.”

However, the university noted that the January and June 2023 sessions are “not open to NYU and NYU Shanghai students due to space constraints.”

Cameron is expected to teach students how to practice politics in troubled times.

The university emphasizes that J-Term offers a “unique and highly rigorous” learning experience.

“Students study a course full-time for about three weeks. These courses are designed to be immersive experiences; they enhance students’ intellectual focus; go beyond the classroom and incorporate experiential learning; Connect with where they learn.”
