US star Bethany Frankel gives insight into Meghan Markle’s interview with TV host Andy Cohen

Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel speaks to TV host and producer Andy Cohen after Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle appeared on her podcast (Andy Cohen) for her insights.

The Real Housewives host, 54, appeared on an episode of Meghan’s podcast Archetypes and introduced himself saying “it’s nice to meet her”. However, the Duchess was quick to remind him that they had indeed met twice before.

Meghan told Andy on her Archetrype podcast: “Nice to meet you. I’ve seen you before, [but] You never remember it. ‘ Andy was shocked to know he’d met the former Suits star before.

Meghan explained to Andy that the incident happened at a Bravo event, adding that she’s a big fan of the Real Housewives executive producer and his talk show Watch What Happens Live.

“I was so eager to be on your show as I was a fan of Housewives at the time and I just couldn’t book Andy! So thank you for being with me,” the Duchess said.

Speaking about their interaction, the reality star addressed the pair’s conversation on a recent episode of the Just B podcast, saying she “respects” Meghan’s actions. Bethany commented that it was a “trap” moment for Meghan.

“Andy Cohen is on Meghan Markle’s Archetype podcast, which is hilarious and a great bonus for him. I actually respect what she said to Andy words,” she continued.

Bethany added: “Number one, I respect Meghan [Markle] say to andy [Cohen] We’ve met twice before. He said, ‘Nice to meet you.’ She said, ‘We’ve met twice before.’ He said, ‘Oh my God, am I doomed now? God knows what I did. ‘”
